What part will you play?

• GAF Energy is seeking an energetic professional and competent for the position of Inbound Logistics Coordinator who is well-organized and well-versed in supply management principles and practices.
• You will report to the Procurement Director, and work cross-functionally with Manufacturing and Engineering.
• This person is responsible for managing on-time deliveries of materials and goods by pro-actively coordinating with transportation providers and internal customers.

What will you do?

• Handle all inbound shipments to US based on Purchase order receipts
• Review with Planner/Buyer all Purchase Orders to meet delivery schedules
• Coordinate with freight forwarder on specific booking dates to meet delivery requirements
• Partner directly with freight forwarders to ensure documentation are completed on time
• Able to plan on proper lead-time to ensure materials will be received on-time
• Track inbound shipments for proper reporting and update
• Highlight shipment delays where there is any
• Prepare documentation, maintain records, and coordinate all logistics for shipment
• Continuously review freight costs, transportation rates and other details to keep cost
• down where possible
• Track and log carrier failures and performance
• Manage delivery appointments with 3P Warehouse.
• Streamline shipping and transportation process

• Knowledge of laws and regulations requirements
• Computer-savvy with working knowledge of Logistics software
• 3+ years’ experience in International Logistics and Customs Clearance especially for Solar business
• 3+ years’ experience in truck, ocean, and air transportation
• B.S. Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management
