Phenomic AI, a rapidly-growing biotech, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work with project teams to advance research stage stromal targeted therapies into early clinical development. The Sr Associate Scientist/Scientist, will execute and actively support in vivo research efforts. The successful candidate will work with our team in Waltham, MA and possess excellent communication skills to collaborate with our additional site in Toronto. This is an ideal position for an individual with a strong background in oncology who thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Hands on work to design, optimize, and execute tumor mouse model systems (syngeneic, CDX and PDX) including dosing of mice (iv, ip, sc, po), tumor implantation (orthotopic or subcutaneous) and isolation/processing of mouse blood or tissues
• Conduct in vivo studies to evaluate mechanism of action, PK, PD, and efficacy relationship of stromal targeted therapies
• Support downstream ex vivo analysis (tissues harvest and preparation for flow cytometry, IHC, pathology, RNA-seq etc)
• Develop new relevant pre-clinical models
• Monitor animal health and maintain compliance with all biosafety regulations
• Attention to detail including timely reporting of experimental work, including Excel spreadsheets and data preparation (figures and data tables)
• Excellent experimental design, troubleshooting, and data analysis skills are required

Minimum Experience and Education

• BS/MS in Immunology, Cancer Biology, or closely related field with 5+ years hands-on experience
