Our experienced team is focused on international supply chains, mainly importing ocean containers from Europe and Cross-Border Trucks in North-America. Shipping Coordinator for our main office in 10038 New York, NY

The main target of this position is to coordinate the daily business operations of our customers Door-to-Door Supply Chains. Your main tasks will be:

• Ensure that all shipments are in the operations software and continuously followed up
• Engage in day-to-day communication with our oversea offices
• Update the customer of all ongoing shipments for agreed milestones
• Coordinate the transport chain efficiently in order to avoid any kind of extra costs (Storage, per diem etc.)
• Be in constant contact with the final mile trucking company, rail ramps, steamshiplines and container terminals across the united states

What we expect from you:

• Experience in freight forwarding (Steamship line, Railroad, Terminal, 3PL provider) is a strong plus
• Able to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
• Organize and structured working attitude
• Highly motivated and dedicated to the success of the company
• computer skills, especially in MS Office (Excel)
• an existing network of service providers and customers is a plus
