SUMMARY: In this position, you are responsible for leading the implementation phase for new clients and complex client renewals, and for overseeing the implementation of all client renewals or changes, new products, or other regulatory or vendor changes impacting clients. This includes planning and coordinating both client and cross-functional operational teams to support all aspects of setup and implementation. The Implementation Manager will mitigate client risks and internal risks through comprehensive understanding of all downstream impacts. The Implementation Manager will partner with Sales and Client Management teams to facilitate operational procedures and implementation processes. This position is client facing and may require occasional travel.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Partner with Client Manager to facilitate implementation meetings with the client and/or internal operations.
- Partner with Client Manager to develop implementation Project tasks, timeline, questionnaire and supportive documentation.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Assign and follow-up on all tasks.
- Act as a consultative liaison between all functional areas and client contacts(including client, broker and/or consultant parties).
- Provide clear direction, communication and guidance to Operations, Client Manager and client to mitigate project risks to all parties.
- Obtain thorough understanding of client intent and communicate to intent clearly to internal staff therefore leading to a successful implementation.
- Ensure quality and service standards are met throughout the implementation process.
- Provide weekly status reports on open items and issues to Client Management, local staff and other functions, as needed.
- Conduct post implementation analysis and create recommendations based on lessons learned.
- Participate in cross-functional teams and special projects as assigned.
- Other duties as needed/assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3–5 years of experience in healthcare benefits and/or administration required.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Self-Funded Insurance/Benefits, TPA or PBM experience preferred.
- 3–5 years client implementation experience in health insurance or TPA organization preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
- Microsoft Project experience a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, brokers, vendors and differing levels of co-workers.
- Experience facilitating internal and/or client meetings and presentations.
- Self-directed individual who works well with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate people and to resolve complex issues within designated time frames.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business and occasional travel requirements.

The compensation range for this full-time Implementation Manager role is $56, 721 - $106,504. The salary offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan.
