This position is for 2nd/Night Shift, 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM and with a shift differential. Overtime is available with the business needs. Job Summary
The ID/OD CNC Machinist at Triumph Gear Systems is responsible for the operation and basic maintenance of CNC ID/OD grinders in the CNC Grind Department. The ID/OD CNC Machinist must be able to produce high-quality products according to Triumph Gear Systems ID/OD department work instruction. Duties/Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC and Manual OD and ID grind equipment with minimal supervision
Grinding of splined shafts and aircraft gears holding tolerances of .0001"-.0005."
Basic Maintenance of CNC Grinders
Use precision measurement equipment
Maintain proper documentation of SPC data
Consistently produce quality parts
Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques
Other duties as assigned Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
3-5 years’ experience
Blueprint reading skills
Shop math skills
Proficiency in the use of a wide variety of precision measuring tools Physical Requirements
Good hand eye coordination
Able to lift up to 25 lbs
Able to stand for long periods of time
Ability to use hand tools Additional Information
