Main Duties & Responsibilities

  Norris Cylinder Company (a division of TriMas Corporation) is seeking individuals for our position of Hydro Jacket Operator for its Longview, Texas manufacturing plant. Norris Cylinder manufactures quality high-pressure steel and acetylene cylinders and is the only steel cylinder manufacturer in North America. Norris Cylinder operates with a promote from within policy for individuals that wish to grow with us. This is a direct hire position. In this role you will:

• Perform assignments in accordance with established safety policies and procedures.

• Adhere to the Quality Policy, including all items assigned to this position in accordance with ISO policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Comply with the work rules and standards set forth in the Employee Handbook.
• Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned work sites.
• Display appropriate work ethics in the workplace and group settings which provides a positive work environment with co-workers.
• Refer to work order or procedural instructions appropriate for each job, function or assignment before commencing work.
• Perform any specified quality assurance checks designated for each job, function or assignment.
• Assure that all work assigned to position is performed in accordance with specifications, instructions and requirements.
• Demonstrate the ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within a reasonable time, depending on the degree of difficulty of their job functions.
