Bob's Heating & Air Conditioning is hiring for the position of an Experienced HVAC Service Technician in the North areas of Snohomish County, Skagit County, Island County and Whatcom County.

The HVAC Service Technician will provide the best service and solutions experience for our customers and their HVAC equipment. The position requires excellent problem solving skills, diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC equipment and other indoor air quality products. Maintaining, servicing and performing maintenances on HVAC equipment is the Service Technicians goal!

Daily Duties:

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC equipment
• Explaining problems clearly to the customer and giving them options
• Inspections and maintenances of all types of HVAC equipment and their parts
• Working with a variety of tools and taking readings
• Changing parts, controls, and other electrical components
• Installs furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and other indoor air quality products

Licenses/Education:

• Specialty Electrical License (06B or higher)
• Certifications (preferred):
• NATE Certification
• CFC/EPA Refrigeration License (Type 2 or Universal)
• NADCA ASCS License
• Seattle Refrigeration License
• Desired: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• 3 years or more of Lead Installer or Service Tech experience
• Gas pipe installation (preferred)
• Motivated self-starters who work well independently with great time management skills, communication skills and organizational skills.
• An investigative spirit, good problem solving skills and a passion for helping others.
• Provide leadership and coaching to assistant installers

Requirements:

• Clean background check and driving record check
• Clean drug screening, including THC
