Job description

This position requires the successful applicant to do the following:
1. Review costs and resources to manage installations or retrofits for climate control products.
2. Coordinate with other equipment or systems at a facility (e.g. building management system, security systems) for effective operation.
3. Establish an ongoing relationship with clients, understand and meet their expectations, manage projects and work closely with other team members on complex issues.
4. Install, service, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment used in large-scale commercial facilities along with residential homes.
5. Repair or replace broken equipment or parts on site and work closely with clients to find a solution that best fits their needs and budget.
6. Use resources to maintain inventory levels of spare parts so that equipment can be returned to service as quickly as possible.
7. Use computer software programs to diagnose and troubleshoot problems for customers via phone or email correspondence, including customer-specific

Responsibilities:

• Identify potential gas leaks with a gas detector and seal them.
• Receive complaints from customers about thermostats, air quality, and other issues.
• Read blueprints and other instructions to determine what work must be done.
• Utilize hand tools to perform repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance procedures.
• Operate tools of the trade safely.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Experience:

• HVAC: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• EPA Type II (Preferred)
