Holtger Bros., Inc., a family-owned and operated utility contractor, is seeking an energetic and eager-to-learn Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. A Recruiter with HBI is responsible for full-cycle recruitment and supporting the HR team in all employee processes as we continue to grow.

The position of Recruiter is a great fit for someone who:

• Is excited to work with new hires throughout the hiring and onboarding process so that they are successful, long-term employees.
• Wants to continue to connect with those hires throughout the year to support their training and growth in the company.
• Likes a few projects, events, and other tasks in the mix too.

Some of the main responsibilities of Recruiter will be:

• Creating and maintaining current job postings, using multiple job boards
• Screening applications, conducting phone screens, and interviewing candidates in person and remotely
• Maintaining accurate notes and updates in Paycom ATS
• Preparing and extending offers
• Scheduling assessments, background checks, drug screen/physicals
• Coordinating on-boarding plans for new employees and conducting orientation
• Assisting in administering employee training, development, and retention programs
• Contributing creative sourcing ideas
• Sourcing passive candidates through online resume databases
• Representing HBI at recruiting events around the state

Qualified candidates for the position of Recruiter will:

• Thrive working independently while still being part of a team
• Pay attention to detail
• Be creative and collaborative in seeking new ways to find talent
• Be accountable for meeting deadlines and deliverables
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related field
• Have an insurance-acceptable driver's license

Ideal candidates for the position of Recruiter will also:

• Have a minimum of one-year recruiting or hiring experience
• Have experience sourcing candidates online and developing Social Media content for advertising
• Have experience in (utility) construction and/or manufacturing recruitment
• Paycom or similar applicant tracking system experience is a plus
