The HR Operations Specialist reports to the Head of Global HR Operations with a dotted reporting line to the Country HR Manager for the Americas. The Department of HR Operations is responsible for the day-to-day HR activities in close liaison with vendors, Line Managers, and the HR Department’s team members all over the world. You are responsible to ensure that all activities related to the Employee Lice Cycle are executed accurately, on time, and according to defined standards and deliver a state-of-the-art service for the entire employee population under your geographical area of responsibility in all HR-related matters.
Your responsibilities
- Manage the entire Employee Life Cycle for the growing population of around 150 employees in various locations in the United States in close collaboration with the HR Country Manager and other HR team members.
- Manage interface with the external vendor from a payroll point of view, resulting in correct settlement for our employees.
- Support onboarding/offboarding activities.
- Cover local administration such as references, employment verifications, training documentation, work permits, and immigration documentation.
- Support the execution of the annual HR processes.
- Monitor HR data quality and integrity (GDPR) in the Business and ensure appropriate governance.
- Maintain Master and Meta Data integrity.
- Ensure alignment with the overall HR Model across the business to agreed standards and targets.
- Assist Employees and Managers in all HR Life Cycle related matters but leverage digitization with ESS/MSS solutions.
- Work with controlling to ensure transparency of HR cost base and HR-driven costs (learning, external Talent Acquisition search).
- Participate in other HR-related projects and activities as needed.
Your background
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration or in Human Resources (HR) management is strongly preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
- Professional background in HR with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable role in HR.
- Good level of knowledge of local employment laws and regulations in HR disciplines (e.g. employment law, payroll, social security, etc).
- Connected thinking, strong analytical and conceptual skills, as well as a methodical and result-oriented approach.
- A structured and efficient way of working and the ability to prioritize and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Self-started, reliable, and able to learn and adapt quickly in a complex and fast-paced environment.
- Experience and a good level of knowledge in Workday and/or another HRIS Master system are a strong plus.
- Proficiency in usage of all kinds of MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, OneNote, etc.)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) desired but not required.
