Primarily responsible for plant HR Management and other administrative duties; collaborates closely with senior plant management and global/regional HR partners to support Group and/or BU objectives. Carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, labor relations, training, performance management, on-boarding, policy implementations, recruitment/employment, local HR compliance coordination including affirmative action and employment law compliance. Requires excellent judgement, ethical practice, and the ability to trat all information confidentiality.

Responsibilities:
Responsibility for all HR matters on site along the employee life cycle

Manages the development and implementation of local personnel policies and procedures.

Establish and manage plant HR department goals, objectives adn systems alignment with BU and Global HR strategy.

Manages employee relations administration including local policy and practive oversight and is primary information resource for employee relations topics.

Manages administration of local time and attendance activities.

Advises and collaborates with management in identifying, managing and resolving compliance topics.

Advises management or current wage and hour legislation, labor market conditions, current compensation topics, and facilitate communication of employee benefit program practices and costs.

Collaborates with local EHSA or manage the local worker's compensation activities that include reporting injuries, communication with injured employees, and working with management and employee to achieve claim resolution and return to work status.

Ensures local compliance with federal, state and local labor wage and hour laws and regulations.

Oversight of site human resource information system records maintenance and site HR reporting including oversight of ISO training documentation.

Your Profile:
4-year college General Business or HR related degree required

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products

SAP/SuccessFactors HR system experience

Knowledge of federal laws and regualtions affecting Human Resources such as EEOC, Workers Compensation, COBRA, ADA/ADAA, FMLA, HIPPA, ERISA

Knowledge of California Wage and Hour regulations

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to communicate information clearly and effectively with all levels of management and employees.

Bi-Lingual with fluency in both English and Spanish

Effective listening and decision-making skills

Able to keep confidential information secure.

Excellent organizational skills; ability to successfully prioritize; handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
