We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to manage HR Department operations at Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort and Spa in Ojo Caliente, NM. Human Resources Manager provides support to HR Department operations of Ojo Spa Resorts: Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort and Spa and Ojo Santa Fe.
The HR functions you will assist in managing include:

• Recruitment and Retention
• Orientation and On-boarding
• Employee relations
• HRIS (Paylocity)
• Total Rewards: PTO, FMLA, Benefits, Discounts, Perks, EAP
• Safety/workers compensation
• Job descriptions
• Performance management
• Training and development
• SOP development and implementation
• Employment law and regulatory compliance
• Termination and unemployment compensation administration
• General HR department operations at Ojo Caliente

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will also help to ensure consistency within and between all Ojo Spa Resorts and will provide superior customer service to the Resort General Managers, managers, and employees.

Requirements:

• At least five (5) years of human resources experience including HR Generalist and HR Management experience.
• Prior management or supervisor experience, especially in hospitality a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field, or equivalent.
• SHRM or PHR certification a plus.
• Outstanding communication skills; open to feedback and having a collaborative style a must.
• Extensive knowledge of employment regulations (Federal, State, and local).
• Strong computer skills including HRIS systems. Paylocity experience a plus.
• Ability to plan, organize and present training activities to diverse employee groups. Demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining respectful and effective working relationships.
• Analytical and strategic thinker. Super organized, meticulous attention to detail.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish a plus.
• Adaptable. Desire to work in a fast paced, ever-changing, entrepreneurial environment.
• Due to natural environment of Ojo Spa Resorts, must be comfortable outdoors, navigating uneven ground, diverse terrain, and multiple stairs.
