Job description
Scott Electric, an independent electrical wholesaler with over 500 employees, is looking for a full-time HR Generalist to work at the Company headquarters in Greensburg, PA. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in HR, or a related field, and at least one year of HR experience in a company with less than 1000 employees. Experience using Paycom is a plus.
The HR Generalist will be required to perform duties in multiple areas of human resources, including but not limited to:
- Job postings, application screening, background checks
- Job offers and new hire communication
- Employee onboarding
- Employee separation administration
- HR Record keeping (digital and paper)
- FMLA administration
- Accident and Worker’s Compensation reporting
- Benefits administration
- Compliance reporting
- Answer phone calls and emails received by the HR department
Applicants must exercise attention to detail, organization, computer proficiency, verbal and written communication, interpersonal communication, empathy, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills.

Rate: $22, depending on experience
