HR Generalist

We produce remarkable results because of great people. We are looking for a passionate, energetic candidate with a love for building internal and external relationships as our HR Generalist[KB1]. The successful candidate will strive to build authentic relationships with our amazing Caregivers as well as our community members at large for successful recruitment opportunities. We are currently seeking a compassionate individual to perform full life cycle recruiting and onboarding procedures for our Grosse Pointe Office. This individual will specialize in hiring and developing professional, caring Caregivers. They will work with job boards and social media with an emphasis on outside resources to recruit the very best caregivers to join our growing team.
Qualifications
§ 1 year HR experience preferred.
§ Experience using an ATS preferred (applicant tracking system)
§ Demonstrated success managing job postings and applications.
§ Demonstrates high initiative, problem solving and multi-tasking/ organizational skills.
§ Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively.
§ Proficient with social media.
§ Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines.
§ Must demonstrate discretion, integrity, and fair-mindedness consistent with office standards, practices, policies and procedures.
§ Must demonstrate enthusiasm towards work and the growth of the company.
Responsibilities
§ Operate Applicant tracking software for full life-cycle recruitment of Caregivers.
§ Manage job boards, always keeping our postings fresh.
§ Successful social media recruitment techniques
§ Perform speaking engagements with small and large outside resources.
§ Complete all phases of recruitment to include interviews, criminal background checks and drug screens.
§ Onboarding applicants for a smooth transition as new employees.
§ Participate in orientation and training classes.
§ Drive increased employee retention through performance reviews and recognition.
