We are currently seeking a HRIS Administrator to join our team at our home office in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ

The HRIS Administrator will be report to the HRIS Analyst. This position will research, analyze, troubleshoot and maintain systems and processes in support of Human Resources department and departmental projects. Continually monitor Human Resources systems information needs and designs new or modifies existing systems and data reports to meet changing technology requirements. Serves as liaison with information systems staff in resolving problems. Maintains a high level of technical competence and serves as a resource for complex projects or system issues.

Position Duties:

  • Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns with HR data sets and makes recommendations for business and process improvement
  • Develops and maintains reports and dashboards using various reporting and visualization tools to meet business needs
  • Handles complex requests, data visualizations, and trend analysis
  • Contribute to system decision-making, scoping and arranging HR system projects in support of the overall HR strategy
  • Recommends process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy
  • Performs system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches. Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Maintains HRIS tables. Documents process and results.
  • Provides production support, including researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Generates reports/queries, including writing, maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Develop procedures processes, guidelines to maintain data integrity within HRIS
  • Assists with other HR departmental projects when needed.

The Optimal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, computer science or related field
  • Experience with using HRIS. Understands database relationships. ADP Workforce preferred; Workday is a plus.
  • 2-3 years of experience working in the human resources field
  • 1+ years of experience in human resources analytics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (able to use Pivot Tables and Lookups functions in Excel, Knowledge of Visio)
  • Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Openness and eagerness to learn.
