ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a human resource professional in our Atlanta office. In this role you will work with the HR team assisting on the administration of all human resources-related functions, including, benefits, recruitment, administration, and special projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Specifically, this position will be responsible for:
Recruiting & Staffing
- Facilitate phone screens, organize interviews and evaluations, reference checks and onboarding of selected candidate(s)
- Assist with independent contractor onboarding & administration support
- Occasionally attend and support recruitment events to maintain candidate pipelines
Benefits Support
- Assist with new hire and annual open enrollments
- Learn about JS benefits and eligibility
- Prepare benefits compliance reports
- Coordinate monthly lunch & learn scheduling
- Coordinate JSer 401-k & tax document mailings
- Assist with payroll processing for 125+ team members
People Operations
- Coordinate new hire orientation and exit interviews
- Update employee handbook to reflect current policies
- Maintain confidential employee records for benefits, onboarding & mentoring
- Learn and develop a current knowledge of state and federal laws regarding human resources activities
- Support event management activities for learning & benefits
Special Projects
- As needed
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field is preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1-2+ years hands-on HR experience in a professional services environment is preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Meticulous organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of Human Resource information systems and/or Applicant tracking systems
- Professional personal skills, social demeanor and interest in building community relationships
