MasterMold, LLC is a rapidly growing manufacturing organization with core competencies in compression molding and paint operations, with multiple sites throughout Wisconsin.


We are looking to expand our operations with a part time Human Resources Assistant at our Mauston location .This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for an individual who can demonstrate initiative, drive and the ability to work in a team environment.


This Human Resources Assistant will assist with all necessary Human Resources functions, to support all Team Members and Leadership of our Mauston, WI facility. This is an on-site, entry-level role. Candidate will have some flexibility in setting their schedule but should expect between 20-30 hours per week.


Primary responsibilities


Time and attendance: Work closely with the HR team to provide the most current attendance information in relation to production scheduling.

Recruitment: Recruit, Hire, Complete, process, and store all applicable paperwork related to new hires, job dialogues, training and any other personnel related paperwork. Work with our internal recruiting team to fill immediate openings; occasional work with staffing agencies as well.

Compliance: Maintain updated knowledge of applicable labor laws, ensuring compliance with labor regulations and guidelines (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, ERISA, COBRA, Social Security Act, etc.).

Employee Relations: Set up and maintain personnel and other employment files ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality. Maintain employee time cards, to ensure accurate payroll processing. Serve as a point of contact to all employees, in regards to HR polices, employee relations, and benefits administration.

Corporate Development: Work with the Human Resources Manager to identify staffing needs, training needs, timely completion of employee reviews, and general HR support. Weekly reporting to the Human Resources Manager, with Human Resources issues, facilitating cohesiveness with Corporate HR practices

Maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of the job

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating FMLA and other benefits
  • Act as the point of contact for HR issues
  • Employee benefit enrollments and new hire orientations
  • Researching issues and questions
  • Research, format, and update job descriptions. Ensure ongoing consistent practices as they relate to the storage and formatting
  • Prepare documents for data entry of employee changes, terminations, etc.
  • Prepare miscellaneous Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents as needed
  • Coordinate recruiting efforts with the HR team
  • Other duties as requested

Basic Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, selecting, and retaining employees.
  • Accuracy, confidentiality, efficiency
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with focus on multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • English-Spanish bilingual strongly preferred, but at a minimum the ability to understand and make oneself understood through the use of translators.
