Current Opening:
The Human Resources Assistant handles the daily administrative human resources duties. Assists the Human Resources department with recruitment, record maintenance, benefits, training and provides clerical support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Accountabilities

  • Human Resources Record Keeping
  • Maintain employee files and human resources filing system
  • Maintain employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resources information confidential
  • Compile reports and spreadsheets
  • Enter Development Discussion information
  • Office Support
  • Welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries
  • Develop a clear and complete understanding of administrative tasks including but not limited to scheduling meetings, filing, shipping and mailings, mail distribution and ordering and maintaining office supplies
  • Research best pricing prior to ordering of office supplies and other items as needed
  • Offer suggestions for improving processes to help the company meet its strategic goals
  • Enhance organizational efficiency by providing administrative support as needed
  • Assist in day to day operations of the Human Resources function and duties
  • Assist with invoice scanning
  • Collect and distribute mail
  • Recruiting Support
  • Manage recruiting and applicant tracking software by posting job openings and gathering new applicant information
  • Coordinate communication with candidates regarding interviews, screenings and orientations
  • Attend career fairs and other recruiting events
  • Internal marketing
  • Welcome new employees to the organization by assisting with new hire orientations
  • Assist with employee events
  • Answer employee questions
  • Track and send out anniversary cards and referral bonuses

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Associates or Bachelor s related to Human Resources preferred
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced computer experience with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Work well in an office team environment.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
