Job description
Strategic Insight, Ltd. is seeking a Human Resource Executive Assistant (Executive Support Administrator) to assist our US Navy client. The job is on-site at the Pentagon, VA supporting our team providing support for NAVY Top Brass/Executive level leadership.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide graphical/documentation planning and support, project administration, program management support, event planning and administration, mail services, records, and data input.
- HR support – primarily to prepare packages for personnel actions and prepare documents for paypool administration and performance action status tracking. Packages will go to Government Employee for review and approval.
- Records Management – to assist the team in developing Records management processes and execution including preparing and submitting records for archiving to the National Archives. Familiarity with Navy records management process is a must. Records will be reviewed and final disposition determined/approved by Government staff.
- Tasks management process support – Will need help in the execution of distribution and monitoring tasks in the TMT system. Analyst will need to help create reports and track tasks routing, completion and dissemination.
Success for working in this position requires:
- Must have experience and be proficient with Microsoft Office graphic and office automation tools (including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and produce documents without errors.
- Must have a working knowledge of government travel system, policies and procedures. Possess experience and knowledge in proofreading and editing documents that are highly technical in nature which were created by others to ensure proper format, grammar, and style.
- Must possess excellent communication, customer service and telephone skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with federal civilian HR side.
- Should be familiar with OPM guidelines for establishing positions, demining proper descriptions for PDs, determining pay grade levels, staffing plans.
- Assess civilian work job series, do position analyses.
- Review position descriptions, be able to talk to supervisors to flesh out duties of positions, understand the requirements of job, ensure ASN (RD&A) is describing positions correctly.
- Strong problem solving and strategic planning skills.
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy in completing assignments, including, proof reading, grammar, and analytical skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and work with others at all levels, as a team member.
- Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
- Self-starter, goal-oriented individual who provides timely feedback on progress made on assignments.
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks, handle complex assignments, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.**
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma is required.
Mandatory Requirement: Mandatory Requirement: Applicants must have an active Interim Secret DoD clearance at a minimum, with final Secret preferred.
