About The Role

• To provide managers and employees with information on legislative compliance, advising on ways of meeting OSHA requirements and inhouse HS&E Policies & Practices.
• To provide mentorship and stability to the HS&E Department.
• To ensure that Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work requirements are met.
• Proactively work with other areas of the business to develop HS&E culture.
• Conduct monthly safety audits, behavioural observations and quarterly safety inspections.
• Ensuring operational activities on site are carried out safely and legally
• Challenge unsafe behavious and recognizing areas of improvement

About You
Must Have Skills & Knowledge:

• A proven track record of delivering and maintaining Health & Safety Management Systems.
• A proven track record of delivering and maintaining Federal EPA and State PA-DEP enviromental records
• An ability to develop and adapt strategies to reduce risk and encourage performance.
• To provide HS&E management reports to agreed deadlines.
• Loss Incident investigation
• Ability to problem solve and think outside of the box.
• BCSP or Certified Safety Professional
• Environmental Qualification
• Drivers Licence
• Must be familiar and capable of working within a high demand, ever changing environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Desired Skills & Knowledge:

• A knowledge of ISO 19001, 14001, and 45001 is desired enabling the candidate to undertake management system tasks in line with the requirements of ISO
• Management of Change
• A proven track record of delivering and maintaining a DOT Program
• Machinery Knowledge (would be an advantage)
• Knowledge of Spanish (would be an advantage)
• Knowledge of Federal EPA and State PA-DEP Environmental Permitting
