Your Role
As the Human Resources Manager, you will coordinate and manage daily HR operations, including but not limited to employment transactions (onboarding-exit), benefits, employee health wellness, HRIS administration, reporting, and analysis. You will be responsible for ensuring processes, policies, and practices are applied consistently and effectively across the organization, ensuring accountability and compliance. This position reports directly to the Director of Human Resources and will leverage the Administrative Team to provide critical HR supports to the agency. We are looking for you to embrace innovation within the human resources field and bring energetic, self-motivated energy to this role. This position allows for a flexible schedule and is a hybrid model.

Your Role

- Carry out supervisory responsibilities. Ensure Administrative staff complete handling of office correspondence, mail, copy work, supplies, reception, and special projects.
- Maintain files for agency consultants, including annual contracts/agreements, current licensing, accreditation, insurance
- Oversee the management of agency’s annual benefits enrollment process and ongoing employee benefits programs, including FMLA and COBRA administration.
- Responsible for the management of HR related information within the HRIS system and other applicable HR systems.
- Ensure data accuracy for analysis and reporting.
- Implement new and/or modify current HRIS modules to fully utilize the system, streamline data and automate HR processes to enhance HR support services. Ensure documentation of employment actions, recordkeeping, and record retention requirements are being met.
- Oversee maintenance of agency’s policy/procedural manuals, including the Organizational, Program Services, and Human Resources.
- Administer and maintain the office supply requisition and purchasing process. Approve all office supply orders and invoices.
- Analyze results of surveys and develops specific recommendations for review by Director of Human Resources
- Work with the HR Director to develop strategies that will improve the overall performance of the HR department
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or Public Administration, or a closely related field or two (2) years of related experience in HRIS systems, benefits administration, wellness programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- HRIS database experience preferred.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with good grammar and spelling.
- Proficiency in the use of computers, software applications, and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook. Good typing skills and a minimum typing speed of 40 wpm.
