Arconic is currently in search of an HR Generalist , to join our Kawneer business in Cranberry Township, PA. Kawneer North America offers architectural aluminum building products & systems for the commercial construction industry. We provide customers with a comprehensive product portfolio that includes entrances, framing systems, windows and curtain wall systems. This position within the Human Resources Team provides HR Support to the Kawneer Cranberry Team.
- Administration of human resources policies and procedures to hourly manufacturing workforce.
- Collect and analyze HR Data in order to make recommendations to meet company goals
- Recruiting support including conducting phone screens, handling candidate communications, onsite interview, participating in recruiting events, conducting onboarding/orientations tasks.
- Share general pay & benefit information and resources with candidates and employees. (A different team will administer pay & benefits.)
- Conduct incident investigations and provide input on employee relations issues.
- Prepare internal employee communications & assist with policy development as needed.
- Complete transactional tasks in the HRMS (Oracle/GPS) and other systems.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure timely and accurate payroll (timesheet approvals, special payment submission, etc).
- Prepare & maintain required documentation for employee personnel records relating to hourly job postings, performance reviews, new hires, terminations, and hourly rate increases.
- Prepare & distribute various HR reports (Headcount Tracking, Turnover, Call off Tracking, etc).
- Provide backup HR support across the business unit as needed.
- Perform special projects or other duties as assigned or requested.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Organizational Development, or other related field from an accredited institution
- 2+ years Human Resources or other applicable experience
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Organization Development
- PHR certification
- 2+ years Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment
