Position Title: HRExecutive Assistant

JOB SUMMARY:
This highly responsible clerical/administrative position is responsible for providing support to the functional areas of the Human Resources Department, which may include recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development and training. Other duties include updating personnel records and providing customer service to employees and applicants of the organization. This is a non-exempt position.
GENERAL DUTIES:
1. Team with other HR staff to enter employee data into data management software.
2. Process hiring packets and submit to Human Resource Coordinator. Prepare personnel folders and employment badges for new hires. Enter New Hire Reporting information to the Florida Dept. of Revenue website and maintain records.
3. Maintain Organizational Chart in Datis
4. Distribute incoming mail/faxes to HR staff in a timely fashion. Prepare outgoing mail/faxes for distribution.
5. Answer telephones for HR department and assist callers with requests. Provide interpretation of Personnel policies and procedures as necessary. Refer any unanswerable questions to other HR staff as appropriate.
6. Team with Employment Manager to advise applicants of job opportunities, minimum qualifications and the application process. Assist where necessary to enter applicant data into applicant tracking system.
7. Act as Facility Manager for the Department.
8. Maintain a positive, proactive customer service approach through cooperation and communication within the HR department and other departments/programs within the organization.
9. Point person to work with HR Director on ad hoc HR projects (Position Descriptions, Job Descriptions, Audits, etc.).
10. Perform other duties as required to meet program and departmental goals and objectives or as assigned by Director.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Two years HR experience and Associate degree or Bachelor's degree and one year experience in related field. Specific related experience may substitute for the required education on a year for year basis.
