Position Summary

This position will be responsible for full cycle sourcing, recruiting, pre-screening candidates. The Human Resources Recruiter will also develop, track and provide metrics on all aspects of the recruiting and on-boarding process and ensure that these processes are an appropriate reflection of the company's culture and core values. This position will identify and maintain a pipeline of potential future candidates.

Position Responsibilities

  • Identifies recruiting techniques and sourcing methods specific to job requirements
  • Utilizes a variety of sourcing strategies to pipeline a diverse pool of candidates for each job opportunity, by using electronic media, social networking, job fairs and other sourcing tactics
  • Post jobs on social media platforms.
  • Successfully prioritizes efforts to meet obligations
  • Reviews resumes/profiles to ensure minimum requirements are met, phone screen candidates, recommends top talent for interviews, and coordinates phone and onsite interviews.
  • Conducts both passive and active sourcing and recruitment strategies for niche searches at the entry-level.
  • Updates all activities in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned by HR Manager

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A bachelor's degree in human resource management or business preferred, and two years of experience in full cycle recruitment, or any similar combination of education and experience. Recruiting experience in manufacturing, distribution, sales environments preferred.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Must be PC literate (MS Office) and have strong Excel. Experience using a computer application to manage large amounts of information, including creating and editing spreadsheets, inputting data, retrieving specific records, and creating reports to communicate the information.

  • Must have strong analytical, organizational, and writing skills
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office software products; familiarity with applicant tracking systems
  • Experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel)
  • Knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Independent thinker, self-starter, multi-tasker, team player
  • Successfully perform all aspects of the recruiting process including: hosting career fairs, submitting job postings on social media, engage in competitive market research, phone screenings, resume searching, and phone interviews.
  • Highly organized with demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage open requisitions
  • Experience in recruiting in a manufacturing/distribution center environment
  • Successfully achieve results in a fast-paced, metrics and deadline driven environment
  • Ability to prioritize time and work effectively, keeping recruiting pipeline in consideration at all times
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively present information and respond to in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to be professional and flexible in assisting employees or the management team as needed
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and to exercise prudent judgment when discussing confidential matters

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
