We are a provider for the FCS- Foundational Community Support services through Amerigroup, and DVR State of WA here in Spokane Valley, WA. Our mission is to help people reach their fullest potential~ in life and employment!
The Freedom Team is a group of compassionate, hardworking, dedicated, professional people who work well in teams and support each other while they independently work with customers, the community and state agencies. We are a small agency that is flexible and rapidly growing here in the Spokane Valley.
Supportive Housing/Independent Living/Supportive Employment team member
Responsibilities include contacting clients, connecting them to appropriate resources, following up and networking with other agencies, researching client needs and addressing all types of housing, independent living needs, systems access, and employment services. Case management, motivational interviewing, helping people deal with tough life situations and improving their lives one step at a time. Time management, attention to detail, planning, coordinating services, tracking, and accountability through the lens of your heart are essential to be successful in this work. Use of Office 365 and MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and a smart cell phone.
Required Qualifications:
- Able to work independently, with a high attention to detail while also being an enthusiastic team player
- Experience working with adults with disabilities, especially mental health, or substance abuse
- Excellent writing skills, proficient in MS Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel
- Able to pass State background check and drug test
- Smart phone and computer/laptop with internet at home
- Must have own transportation to conduct job related travel in the community and be able to drive
Education Requirements:
- · Bachelor’s in social work/Counseling or similar degree or proven experience (preferred).
- · Master’s in social work/Counseling or similar degree (preferred)

Flexible schedule (you set the dates and times of your appointments, up to 40 hrs. a week)

Starting Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour DOE with a 90 day pay review
