General Summary:

• We are looking for Housekeeper's to clean medical clinics in government buildings with stripping and waxing experience.
• Performs a variety of general and special cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways, restrooms and other assigned areas.
• Some weekend hours are required on occasion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cleans and disinfects all fixtures, floors, mirrors, windows, doors, and walls of bathrooms.
• Dusts furniture, woodwork, equipment and dust mops floors.
• Polishes and cleans fixtures in utility rooms and bathrooms.
• Replenishes supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap, etc as needed.
• Cleans fixtures, tops of windows, door frames, and high areas using a ladder.
• Gathers and disposes of trash and waste materials.
• Removes waste and soiled linens from the work area and places in specified bags or containers.
• Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas and/or patient rooms.
• Daily care of equipment, including the cleaning and proper storage of equipment.
• Ability to communicate clearly with Supervisor when issues arise and need immediate attention.
• Performs all essential duties and responsibilities for assigned areas and any special job assignments delegated by a supervisor.

Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements:

• Floor experience (stripping and waxing).
• Able to lift/carry 26 - 50 pounds.
• Able to stand for long periods of time. Able to perform frequent pulling, pushing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting.
• Required Skills Ability to read, write, understand and speak English at a level which enables the individual to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job.
• Must be able to pass government background.

Position Type Full-Time/Part-Time and evening shifts. Weekend rotation and holiday rotation included.
