Duties and Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Lead Housekeeper the Housekeeper will maintain specified cleaning responsibilities in assigned buildings and should be able to make independent decisions to accomplish the day-to-day custodial responsibilities.
- Knowledge in the operations of building services and related equipment and tasks
- Knowledge of "best practices" for sanitizing, disinfecting cleaning processes
- Requires interaction with various staff members and fellow team members
- Requires the ability to remain flexible while working closely with other housekeeping staff; in addition to all Facility Managers and departments across campus to coordinate specific services as needed
- May be required to work overtime as directed by supervision
- This position supervises students assigned to projects

Education
- High School Diploma is required
Experience
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as a team member on detailed day-to-day tasks
- Team player
Required Skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Excellent organizational, problem solving and communication skills
- Excellent decision-making skills
- Must have a valid driver's license
