Park Mental Health is an outpatient behavioral health facility, located in San Diego, CA, who provides Mental Health treatment services to males over the age of 18.

We focus on helping our client's recover from mental health and substance use disorders which have been a barrier from allowing them to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives outside of a structured treatment environment. We provide evidence-based treatment modalities and strongly focus on assisting our clients to develop aftercare resources as part of our discharge and aftercare planning process.

Our facility is certified by the Department of Healthcare Services (DHCS) and accredited by the Joint Commission (JCAHO) and we strive to provide the highest quality of care possible.

JOB TITLE: House Manager ( Behavioral Health Technician )

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Employee Non-exempt; Full-Time.

REPORTS TO: Program Manager

COMPENSATION:

$20.00-22.00 Hourly dependent upon experience

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Park Mental Health Treatment of San Diego is a Male only Mental Health treatment program located in San Diego, CA. The Behavioral Health Technician / House Manager will be responsible for maintaining an environment that is safe, comfortable and Secure for all client's

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function assigned satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 2. Possess valid driver’s license with clean driving record

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Uphold and enforce the agency’s standards, policies and procedures, code of conduct, and rights of person’s served

2. Manage and supervise clients by enforcing program rules and guidelines

3. Communicate effectively and develop rapport with clients in a treatment setting

5. Conduct client drug testing, which includes direct observation, collection and labeling of specimens, reviewing and reporting onsite test results and/or urine collection procedures for laboratory analysis, documentation, packaging and shipping.

6. Engage clients in healthy conversation and activities.

7. Ability to establish and maintain professional, cooperative working relationships with clinical and administrative staff and supervisors.

8. Monitor and report client behavior at all times.

9. Ensure that clients are observing all house rules and curfews.

10. Report all health and safety hazards, facility safety or security concerns, or other problems to the Program Manager

11. Immediately document and report critical incidents, behavioral incidents and errors to the Program Manager

12. Review House Rules with all new client's entering sober living.

13. Welcome and introduce new client to existing client's.

14. Observe client self-administration of medication

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
