Specialized Support Services, Inc. is under new management and is looking to strengthen its Macon operation by hiring two House Managers/Lead Staff to manage our two Individualized Supported Living (ISL) environments in Macon. The House Managers/Lead Staff will support the Director and Professional Manager in supervising the ISLs and the Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who provide primary supports for our consumers in implementing their Individual Plans and Activities of Daily Living. House Managers/Lead Staff will support consumers and DSPs by supervising DSPs as appropriate and ensure that ISLs run efficiently by taking responsibility for meal planning, grocery shopping and paying consumer bills.
We are hiring one House Manager/Lead Staff for a 4-person ISL and another House Manager/Lead Staff for a 2-person ISL. For the 2-person ISL, hours would be 7a-3p Monday and Tuesday, and then 3-11p Wednesday through Friday. For the 4-person ISL, hours would be 7a-3p Monday through Friday. Some weekend availability will be required.
Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or GED; prior DSP experience; a good driving record, car insurance; the ability to pass a state-mandated background check; and the desire to make a positive difference in people's lives by providing domestic, social, health, safety and emotional support.
We offer a $750 sign-on bonus for full-time employment.

Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
