As a reservations agent you will be motivated and hard working with the ability to multitask in a fast-moving environment. Working with the reservations manager and other agents, you will handle all incoming guest reservation calls and inquiries with a warm and welcoming demeanor, professionalism and in a manner that exceeds our luxury standards. Responsibilities include answering questions on rates, packages and promotions, hotel amenities and services, reservation cancellations.

This position is full time and will work a flexible schedule to include AM or PM shifts.

Essential functions include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for taking reservations and accurately inputting into the reservation system
• Answer room rate inquiries, outlets and room types/locations
• Handle all special requests in a friendly and engaging manner, with enthusiasm and patience.
• post advance deposits and keep accurate records of deposits and routing
• Complete necessary projects by the assigned times
• Complete documents as directed and to specifications
• Check for duplicated reservations, OTA reservations and perform daily routines and duties for all shifts
• Assist the reservations manager with special projects and reporting as needed

Key Knowledge, skills and abilities for the Reservations Agent:

• At least one year of upscale/luxury hotel experience, preferably in front office, telecom, concierge or reservations
• Must have experience with Opera reservations related functions
• Excellent skills with Microsoft Office,
• Friendly, professional and with a natural affinity towards hospitality. Positive guest and team relations skills
• Organized and detail oriented, comfortable working with numbers and data.
• Knowledge of the Hotel and surrounding areas
• Able to work a flexible schedule including various shifts and weekend.
