We are looking for enthusiastic hosts and hostesses to join our team at Grandview Café! Must have weekend availability!

SUMMARY: Greets and escorts guests to tables in the restaurant, maintaining a courteous and efficient operation of the dining room to ensure guest satisfaction.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greets guests as they arrive, then escorts them to their table and presents them with menu

• Maintains proper set up of dining room and to be prepared for guests at opening on a daily basis

• Receives, records, and makes any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant

• Ensures cleanliness of lobby and host area.

• Performs all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Strong communication skills

- Strong customer service skills

- Ability to multi-task

- The ability to move quickly in a high volume and fast paced environment

- The ability to work as a member of a team

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
