Sloane Realty is Ocean Isle Beach is a family owned hospitality firm operating in the Vacation Rental, Real Estate Sales, Hotel and Restaurant sectors for more than 65 years. We are the oldest real estate and vacation rental firm in our area and with second and third generation of family actively involved in directing the company. We are located on Ocean Isle Beach and Sunset Beach, North Carolina. Our location is prime with close proximity to Myrtle Beach, SC and historic Wilmington, NC. Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Director who is responsible for the marketing and public relations initiatives for the Company. The Director is a key member of the organization managing all marketing and community outreach for each of the Company’s brands: vacation rentals, real estate sales, boutique inn and restaurant.

Responsibilities

· A successful candidate will be a core member and regular contributor to the continuous improvement and success of the company

· The Marketing Director will become ingrained in the dynamics of the company from the top down and work closely with the all brands of the Company.

· Develop, write, edit, proof, and coordinate marketing campaigns and initiatives

· Create and execute marketing strategy for email, website, ad copy, direct mail, billboards and social media content

· Manage business pages for Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, and YouTube

o Monitor and respond to guests, owners, and partners through social media channels such as Google, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, VRBO and others

o coordinate social media marketing, including maintaining a schedule, placing posts strategically, and interacting with social media fans

· Manage and report on marketing metrics identify trends and opportunities for improvement

· Actively work with local community businesses and organizations to promote Company brand

· Update websites and listing information

· Write content and coordinate/upload photography/video content to websites

· Work with real estate agents on their marketing efforts

· Oversee real estate ad listings in newspaper

· Order and manage marketing supplies

· Identify opportunities for brand awareness and growth

· Coordinate promotional advertising

· Schedule e-blasts with various departments

o Manage Company Email lists

Minimum Qualifications

· Must have previous marketing experience

· The aptitude to learn and understand the vacation rental, real estate, hotel and restaurant industries. Experience in some or all of these sectors is preferred.

· Ability to work in an office environment (this is an on-site position)

· Ability to work independently & effectively with multiple managers

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, MailChimp and Google software

· CRM and CMS experience preferred.

· Project management experience required

· Proficient with social media

· Graphic design skills preferred

· Ability to attend networking events and participate in planning of Company events

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Good listening and problem-solving ability

· Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
