Loving heart? Called to serve? Constellation Hospice is looking for volunteers to visit patients who have a terminal illness. Make a difference in your community, be part of the hospice team, and have a flexible volunteer schedule. One hour a week can make a big difference to someone nearing the end of life!
Volunteers may engage in conversation, read to a patient, look at pictures together, share music or videos on your phone, simply provide a compassionate presence, or other activities.
Hospice Volunteer Patient Visitor needed in Dover, NH
Requirements:
- 18 years old +
- Able to commit for one year to our program
- Ability to listen deeply, interest in and compassion for others, good boundaries and self care, meet people where they’re at in energy and tone
- Online training takes 20 hours and is personally enriching, focusing on personal death awareness and hospice philosophy
- No close death in the last year
