Hope Community is a thriving, non-denominational, multi-site church, with pre-COVID attendance of more than 10,000 people. The leadership there is open to creative ideas and effective strategies to reaching a diverse audience and engaging them to experience Jesus.
Hope is currently open at all four campuses, and attendance is growing each week although they are roughly 40-45% of pre-Covid attendance. They are in a transformation process now as they strive to remain relevant and effective in the new church and cultural environment. They are active in reaching people in the community where they are rather than relying on them coming to a campus location, and they have plans to grow in this outreach and living on mission in the community. They are building an online presence and a digital discipleship platform to reach the next generation and current mission partners in the middle of life's challenges. Hope is in a solid financial position, and they have a healthy leadership culture and are excited about the future.

Hope Community Church is seeking a high-capacity leader who is passionate about Digital Discipleship and leading a movement to become a Disciple-making church.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the Teaching Team, working together to plan series and develop weekend messages, collaborating with the programming team, and teaching 15-20 times per year
- Steward church resources and champion generosity in the congregation
- Lead the Digital Discipleship initiatives of Hope
REQUIREMENTS
- A teacher who demonstrates the centrality of the Gospel
- Strong ability to teach the scriptures in practical and engaging ways with tangible application and a strong leaning towards those who are far from God
- A pastoral presence that is positive, steady, and consistent in the face of challenging relational situations
- Love people where they are, with a heart for the lost
- Solid team player; able to set aside personal preferences for the greater good
- Four-year degree in theology or biblical studies required, seminary degree preferred.
