Job description
Responsibilities:
- The Hobbing/Shaper Operator is responsible for the manufacture of parts per plant specifications in an accurate and timely manner
- This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time
- Set up; edit and operate CNC Hobbers/manual Hobbers and manual Shapers
- Inspect completed parts to ensure conformance to specifications
- Cleans work area
- Remove tooling, fixturing, and return inspection equipment to proper area
- Minor machine maintenance (i.e. greasing, oiling, etc.)
- The phrases occasionally, regularly, and frequently correspond to the following definitions: Occasionally means up to 1/3 of working time, regularly means between 1/3 and 2/3 of working time, and frequently means 2/3 and more working time)
- The incumbent will regularly stand, sit and talk and listen and will frequently use hands to finger, handle or touch
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
