Job purpose

• Laborers perform manual tasks involving little or no specialized skill or prior work experience.
• Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds. Operation requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.

Duties and responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of OCTG for inspection or tests.
• Works under the supervision of Inspectors and Operators.
• Must not attempt to operate machinery, vehicle or equipment.
• Responsible for keeping work areas clean.
• Protect yourself at all times by wearing appropriate PPE
• Ensure all company policies surrounding health & safety, quality requirements and housekeeping are met
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Required Skills

• 3-6 months experience with OCTG, or related NDT field
• Read and write in English or Spanish
• Must be in good physical condition able to work outdoors, for extended hours on his/her feet, and able to lift 50 lbs
• Employee must be punctual, dependable, good attitude, and dedicated to Safety.

Education

• High School Diploma preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
