Kid's Kingdom LLC in Ellenboro, NC is looking for one hiring for early head start teachers. to join our 12 person strong team. We are located on 143 Henrietta St. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and engaged.
Responsibilities

*Works with another EHS staff to care for and teach a group of eight children. *Ratio is one staff to four children *The Early Head Start staff work with children between the age of birth to three years *The teacher is responsible for observing and documenting the daily activities of each child and reporting them to the parent with the Bright Wheel App *Responsibilities also require doing weekly lesson plans. Preparing daily activities for the classroom. Keeping the classroom decorated with children's individual artwork. Updating classroom bulletin boards seasonably. Meeting with families to discuss each child's progress and reporting it back to NC Source of Western NC. Keeping the classroom clean and organized. *Showing excellent work ethic and attendance. *Attend required trainings and workshops *The work day is between the hours of 7:00 am-5:00 pm. Each teacher is scheduled to work 7 to 8 hour days. Monday through Friday.
Qualifications

*Early Head Start staff must have an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or have 160 training hours that meet the qualifications to obtain a CDA ( Child Development Associate Credential for NC. *Benefits include holiday pay after three months. *One week paid vacation after the first year of teaching *IRA Retirement plan after being employed for one year

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $15.00 - $16.00/hour.
