The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to work at our Whitesville Mill Services location at our Crawfordsville, IN location.

The Heavy Equipment Operator performs all functions as it pertains to operating off-road, mobile equipment for the purpose of loading trucks, rail trucks, rail cars, feeding plant, and stockpiling materials.

If you have 1+ years of experience operating:

• Front End Loaders
• Dozers
• Excavators
• Haul Trucks- 60 Ton or up

And have a background operating heavy equipment in:

• Steel mill services
• Construction
• Mining industry
• Earth Moving

Responsibilities
The Heavy Equipment Operator will:

• Comply with all safety regulations, policies and record-keeping
• Load materials in designated areas
• Maintain work area to allow safe movement and access
• Monitor any change in machine performance to identify potential malfunctions
• Perform daily machine inspection and routine greasing, oiling, and fueling
• Meet customer service expectations

Skills
The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience operating end loader, excavator, dozer, and other specialized mobile equipment
• Ability to work in confined and congested spaces
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Basic Mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of bulk materials
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
