Position Overview
· Inbound call volume of 50+ calls per day - Providers and Members
· Help members understand and utilize their health benefits
· Own and resolve benefit issues
· Abide by all HIPAA requirements
· Conduct outbound Welcome Calls to new members
· Create access to the employee’s preferred provider
· Confirming benefits and eligibility
· Assisting in the general claims process

Requirements
· Experience working in health insurance
· Great attention to detail
· Phone-based customer service call center experience (High call volume preferred)
· Comfortable working with technology
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
· Outstanding track record of attendance and adherence to schedule
· Quiet and private home working environment, where you can work uninterrupted for your shift
· Self-starter who demonstrates working independently
· Reliable high-speed Internet access required
· Successful multitasker who can ensure all responsibilities are completed in a timely manner
Personal Attributes Needed for Success
· Ability to build rapport with a wide range of people
· Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills, ensuring first call resolution
· Strong desire to be of service and assist others
· Motivated by being in a supporting role and contributing to team success
· Bilingual a plus! English and Spanish, English and Chinese, English and Russian
