National Vision is currently looking for a Managed Care Database Administrator to join our growing team!

The role is responsible for setting up and maintaining insurance plans in the SDS (Point of Sale) system for store entry of managed care orders.

What Would You Do? The Specifics.

• Sets up new MC plans and payers in SDS system.
• Modifies/Maintains current managed care plans in SDS system.
• Interprets benefit plan designs to ensure that prescription rules are processing based on client specifications.
• Tests plan set up and rules to ensure accuracy.
• Creates and run reports to confirm changes are processing accurately in accordance to the managed care plan.
• Create and interpret excel reports.
• Performs Quality Assurance tests on database to ensure accuracy.
• Answers store questions about plan benefits.

Work Experience

• 2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience (Required)
• MC plan experience needed
• Experience with Access, SQL and other relational database systems are required.
• High school, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; E.G. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc.
