MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by
an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education
Accreditation (CHEA) or by the United States Department of
Education (USDE). Major course work in Psychology, Social Work,
Medicine, Nursing, Rehabilitation, Counseling, Sociology, Human
Growth and Development, Physician Assistant, Gerontology, Special
Education, Educational Psychology, Early Childhood Education, or
Early Childhood Intervention preferred.
2. Experience in a governmental program preferred.
3. Experience with grant implementation and reporting preferred.
4. Current valid license as a Qualified Credential Counselor (QCC)
or Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) as identified
by the Texas Certification Board; or a Licensed Professional Counselor
(LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) as identified by the
Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council.
Must maintain valid license(s) for continued employment in position.
**The salary for an ERS Retiree (or non-contributing member) will
be $4,070.72.**
The following Military Occupational Specialty codes are generally
applicable to this position. Applicants must fully complete the
summary of experience to determine if minimum qualifications are met.
