Job SummaryUnder the general direction of the Director of Population Health, the Health Screening Tech is responsible for executing community health screening programs that further EMH’s Mission and Vision of measurable improving the health of the community. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Working Conditions, Hazards and Physical EffortWill work in various environments where health fair services are provided, may involve evening and weekend work. Must be able to lift 10-15 lbs. independently. Interaction with clients essential may involve exposure to blood borne pathogens.

Minimum Qualifications or EquivalentsEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent.Experience: Previous experience in clinical setting preferred.EQUIPMENT USED/SPECIAL SKILLS: Will receive on-the-job training in use of glucose and cholesterol testing equipment, if applicable. Use of body fat, lung capacity, and blood pressure devices.
