This role is responsible for reviewing and completing payor contract assignments to complete payor contract projects, provide support to all program departments regarding payor contracts, and customer service for all payor contract stakeholders. Contract manager associate will work with the contract manager to initiate new payor contracts, submit any necessary documentation, to collect data and develop a plan for contract negotiation, load effective contracts in contract works, send out payor contract summary sheets to all programs for new and updated payor contracts. Contract Management Associate will work with the contract manager and will research new market payor contract, collect data on expected reimbursement and justification for rate increase annually for ongoing contract process. The contract management associate will work with the Contract Manager on documentation associated with payer reimbursement contracts to determine the continued accuracy of the fee schedules and reimbursement rates that are loaded in the practice management software. The contract management associate is also responsible for loading, maintaining and managing the Managed Care Contract information in the contract management database. They work closely with team members to ensure they have all necessary contract information and performs quality assurance testing to confirm all agreements are loaded correctly. Responsibilities:

- Performs analysis, modeling, and data generation within the contract management database using client provided contractual information.
- Contract management associate will work with the contract manager to initiate new payor contracts, submit any necessary documentation, to collect data and develop a plan for contract negotiation, load effective contracts in contract works, send out payor contract summary sheets to all programs for new and updated payor contracts.
- Reviews and interprets payer contracts and associated documentation to ensure accurate contract Fee Schedules in the contract billing software and ensure they are up to date with most current products and solutions.
- Contract management associate will work with the contract manager to research new market payor contracts, collect data on expected reimbursement, and justification for rate increases annually for ongoing contract process.
- Proactively identifies errors with the Contract Management database’s calculation of the contractual variances.
- Communicates any issues associated with the modeling of the contract to the appropriate team members or client contacts.
- Ensure document content integrity and version control is maintained throughout the contract negotiation, approval, and execution process.
- Engage directly with Commercial Contracting Specialists to resolve contract reimbursement issues
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.
- 3 years of related experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in using verbal and written skills to clearly communicate
- Understanding of healthcare billing, finance, and accounting principles.
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills.
