POSITION SUMMARY
Under General direction the Hardware Specialist / Delivery professional will complete specialized Information Technology (IT) work. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Basic desktop support and network trouble shooting, general IT trouble shooting, repair and support of deployed hardware systems to include printers, computing devices and other miscellaneous IT equipment. Managing external vendors when required for repairs and working with manufacturer technical support. Other duties will require delivery of equipment to customer locations.

This position is responsible for the review of and utilization of all available resources for the efficient operation and services of Morrison Consulting / Access411 provided, IT equipment and to resolve hardware, operating system, Proprietary software and network problems. Periodic visits to remote locations may be required, as well as flexible hours. Work is carried out under the direct supervision of the Director of Information Technology, within the framework of well-defined policies and procedures, and some independent judgment is exercised.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Associates Degree Preferred ( or working toward degree
• Technical School training in Information Technology required.
• One to Two years of prior experience and familiarity with current IT principles and practices; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training and experience.
• Familiar with the following technologies:
• Windows 8.1,10, & 11 PC hardware, networking principles
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office,
• Basic Trouble shooting methodology
• TCP/IP, remote network access and VPN
• Requires valid Driver’s License.
• Investigate equipment, make repairs if possible.
• Ship equipment to partner schools and companies to fix equipment
• Work closely with Customer Care Department
• Store equipment and keep shipping area organized
• Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with company team
• Ability to work under medium pressure circumstances at times
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, interpersonal, communications, and writing skills
• Ability to interact with all levels of staffing from a planning or support perspective
• A Pennsylvania Criminal Background check is required to be kept on file for any employee in this position.
• Able to lift more than 30 lbs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work directly with users and field technicians to resolve operational, hardware, application issues.
• Communicate with vendor’s support avenues as needed to resolve software questions, problems, request updates, and request technical assistance.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all Morrison Consulting inc. / Access411 computer configuration.
• Investigate upgrades to computer systems hardware and software for future implementation.
• Review and recommend new or useful major vendor or third-party hardware and software.
• Assist in user security profiles and auditing.
• Inventory management
• Logistics management
• Assist in training of interns
• Problem Escalation to senior technical teams
• Participation in application implementations which expands our distribution technology
• Manage relationships between customers, user representatives, and service providers, both internal and external, including communications, prioritization, and coordination and allocation of resources
• Deliver, Install and Configure customer purchased equipment as needed.
• Works on IT projects as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $38,000.00 per year
