Full time Handyman - Brooklyn Navy Yard

• Title: Handyman
• Hourly: $25 - $26/hr
• Schedule: Monday /Wednesday /Friday - Sunday
• Hours: 12pm - 9pm (1hr unpaid lunch)

Handyman duties would include, but not limited to:

• Unclogging tubs, sinks, toilets
• Must be handy know how to use tools, complete minor electrical and plumbing repairs

• Plastering/painting of small areas
• Caulking, repairing of ceramic wall tiles (small areas when needed)
• Window repair such as window screens and window parts such as lock or balances
• Repairing/installing door locks, hinges
• Installing/repairing of light fixtures, outlets, switches
• Minor carpentry work (such as repairing doors, drawers)
• Snow removal when needed

Required experience:

• Must have at least 2 years Handyman experience
• Any licenses and/or certifications is a plus

Physical requirements include: walking and standing during the entire shift (often 4-8 hours), climbing stairs, kneeling to clean floors, pushing and pulling objects, lifting and moving objects (up to 50 lbs), repetitive bending and lifting, and repetitive arm movement
