JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet, welcome, and assist all guests that visit the Players Club throughout the shift.
- Answers all incoming calls to the Players Club in a timely manner and assist the guest with a friendly and polite demeanor.
- Establish rapport and build professional relationships with guests.
- Administer Ambassador tours to all new guests, showing them the facility and sharing the benefits of playing with a card when time permits.
- Able to effectively explain the benefits of the Players Club Card, current and upcoming property promotions, special events, general information (i.e. hours of operation, live racing etc.) as well as effectively enroll new members.
- Is diligent in offering guests a Players Club Card.
- Accurately inputs player information into the database and issues Players Club Cards in accordance with our data input standards.
- Diligent in capturing guest email and phone information at the time of sign up and confirming the accuracy of the information at each guest interaction.
- Is responsible to conduct Players Club sign ups on the gaming floor as directed by the Player Services Manager or his/her designee.
- Is vigilant in identifying guests not playing with a loyalty card and approaching them in a friendly and helpful manner to encourage the use of the card.
- Assists in the reprinting of the Players Club Cards for those guests who forgot their card or misplaced it.
- Address guest complaints and inquiries in a timely, professional, and courteous manner and request assistance from Players Club management and/or specific department head, when necessary.
- Capable of utilizing all player tracking and associated software to support the integrity of the player database.
- Willing to ask for assistance as needed to ensure the accuracy of information provided to both internal and external guests.
- Assists in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the Players Club and ensures brochures and other marketing collateral is well stocked and available to the guest.
- Work promotions and special events as requested to include but not limited to gift days, drawings, event check-in etc.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Previous players club experience is preferred.
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.
- Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must pass any and all required background checks.
