Job Summary:
Powderbird, POWDR's heli-adventure operation out of Snowbird Utah, is seeking seasonal Ground Crew members to support the safe and efficient ground support for our operation. A commitment to safety, attention to detail, strong interpersonal communication skills, and a desire to make a difference are essential for this opportunity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Guest safety from arrival to departure
- Daily helicopter pad tasks such as refueling, aircraft support, guest/gear loading and unloading
- Radio dispatch, communication and flight following
- Building maintenance and cleaning as needed
- Snow removal
- Guest transportation
- Ski and snowboard rental setup
- Equipment maintenance
- Product maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
Required knowledge, skills, and experience:
- High school degree or GED equivalent required
- Valid state issued driver's license
- Committed to safety in all aspects of work
- Previous experience in the snow sport industry preferred
- Use of snow blowers and snow removal equipment
- Ability to lift and carry loads up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
- Must be able to hear normal conversations in a busy, crowded environment
- Vision must be within normal range to work safely and to read written information
- Must have the dexterity to use all equipment and utensils normally associated with the position
