Job Title: Grievance & Appeals Assistant

Location: Indiana (100% Remote)

Duration: 12 Months

Pay-Rate: $22.00 /Hr. on W2

Day-to-day responsibilities of this the role and a description of the project (Outside of Workday JD):

• Answer Grievance & Appeals department phone line
• Schedule peer-to-peer reviews for denied authorizations
• Other duties as assigned

Describe the performance expectations/metrics for this individual and their team:

• Remain in “Active” status in the phone line, answering calls within 60 seconds always using professionalism
• Schedule 100% of peer-to-peer reviews timely; upon completion of peer-to-peer review, close out case in applicable systems
• Complete data entry functions by documenting all calls into systems
• Actively participate in meetings
• Assists with special projects

• Getting acclimated to all systems and taking required courses
• Day 2-5 will be virtual shadowing of department prior to training
