About the role
As a Graphic Designer Specialist, you will apply core design principles to both bespoke creative projects and templated production projects, ensuring all work is aligned to the Latham & Watkins Brand and brand guidelines. Other key responsibilities include:

• Completing multiple projects concurrently, delivering on time, and maintaining a high standard for presentation, quality, and attention to detail
• Attending project kickoffs, creating informed solutions, and articulating how the solutions answer the needs of the internal business partner
• With direction from the Art Director and Graphic Designer Lead, taking approved concepts and expanding to multiple deliverables for broad campaigns
• Developing fluency in the Latham Brand
• Taking approved new brand asset styles and templates and building out scalable asset libraries that appear in brand guidelines and, ultimately, all Latham communications.

About you
We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Possess a strong foundation of core design skills, including typography (kerning, leading, tracking), hierarchy, color application, grids, layout, and accessibility
• Are a self-starter
• Have an eye for great photography

And have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or an equivalent combination of training and experience
• A minimum of three (3) years as a graphic designer in a professional services organization or agency
• Experience with content management and digital asset management systems, digital and social marketing, and web design
