JOB OVERVIEW

The Graphic Designer (Print) is responsible for the production of all printed catalogs and print collateral. This individual will maintain the brand's visual identity and standards, in addition to developing fresh and dynamic visuals for the brand as a whole.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute catalog production (wholesale catalogs) inclusive of layout creation, inserting/updating copy, importing images and catalog proofing/review
  • Design and layout graphics for various in-store POP assets
  • Design flyers, coupons and other misc. promotional items for DTC use
  • Create a variety or marketing materials
  • Maintain project libraries and organize graphics by season and concept
  • Maintain visual standards established in brand guidelines across catalogs and marketing collateral
  • Manage deadlines in accordance with corporate calendar

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • Highly proficient in InDesign
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite; Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Strong knowledge of design fundamentals, layout, typography and web specifications
  • Strong knowledge of publication/large format printing processes
  • Demonstrated photo editing and production skills
  • Creative eye for laying out product grids in an in-house studio setting
  • Ability to coordinate, communicate and adhere to deadlines/schedules
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in graphic design
  • Catalog experience preferred
